We’re excited to welcome Vivienne Freudman as our Programs Assistant Intern at Touchstone Foundation!
Vivienne is currently a junior at Franklin & Marshall College, where she is pursuing degrees in Psychology and Economics.
Professional Experience & Interests
Vivienne has experience working with children and adults with disabilities, an area of service that has shaped her passion for creating inclusive spaces and supporting the diverse needs of the Lancaster community. This work inspired her to deepen her involvement with programs that bring people together, foster belonging, and uplift youth voices.
At Touchstone Foundation, Vivienne is especially excited to contribute to the Rise Above Youth Summit program, where she’ll be engaging with young people to support conversations about mental health and advocacy.
Reflections on Her Work
Vivienne shares that her experience with disability support showed her the importance of empathy, patience, and community connection. She’s eager to apply these values in her work at Touchstone Foundation and to grow her understanding of how nonprofit programs can impact youth mental wellness on a larger scale.
What Mental Health Means to Her
For Vivienne, mental health is central to overall well-being and a key part of how people connect with the world around them. She believes that mental wellness should be nurtured the same way we care for physical health—by building strong support systems, breaking stigma, and ensuring everyone has access to resources.

When she’s not studying or working, Vivienne enjoys exploring new ideas, staying active, and spending time with friends. She also loves finding ways to blend her interests in psychology and economics, exploring how systems and individual experiences come together to shape community well-being.
