Thank You for Joining the Touchstone Foundation Parenting Series
On behalf of Touchstone Foundation, thank you for investing your time in yourself, your family, and your child’s future. We recognize that parenting has never been a one-size-fits-all journey, and today’s rapidly changing world presents new opportunities and challenges that no parent should have to navigate alone.
Our hope is that throughout this series you have discovered not only practical strategies, but also reassurance that growth doesn’t require perfection. It happens through everyday moments of connection, curiosity, and support.
Together, we’ve explored the foundational skills that help children thrive in an uncertain world:
- Emotional Regulation — learning to understand and manage emotions with confidence.
- Adaptability — building flexibility as life, technology, and circumstances continue to evolve.
- Persistence — developing the courage to work through challenges and setbacks.
- Meaning & Purpose — helping young people discover belonging, direction, and hope.
These qualities are not fixed traits—they are skills that can be nurtured over time through caring relationships, everyday experiences, and intentional parenting. Every conversation, every challenge, and every opportunity to connect helps shape a child’s resilience.
Throughout this series, we’ve explored today’s youth mental health landscape, the science of hope and resilience, parenting alongside AI and modern technology, recognizing opportunities for early support, and preparing young people with the skills they need to thrive in an ever-changing world. Together, these conversations remind us that resilient children are raised by connected families and supportive communities—and that parents don’t have to have all the answers to make a meaningful difference.
As you leave today, we’d like to leave you with a few questions for reflection:
Reflection Questions
1. What is your biggest concern about your child’s future?
2. What quality or skill do you most hope your child develops before adulthood?
3. What parenting challenge feels hardest for you right now?
Looking Ahead
As summer begins, we’re going to take a brief pause to give families time to enjoy the season, unplug, take vacations, and make lasting memories together. We encourage you to use this time to practice some of the strategies we’ve discussed—embracing connection, resilience, and meaningful moments with your family.
We’ll be back with new episodes this fall, featuring additional conversations with trusted experts and practical guidance to continue supporting your parenting journey.
Be sure to register for the Touchstone Parenting Series to receive updates, future event announcements, and notifications when new episodes become available.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
Remember: You are not alone. Parenting is one of life’s greatest challenges—and one of its greatest opportunities. No matter where you are on that journey, Touchstone Foundation is here to walk alongside you. Together, we can help children build the confidence, resilience, and hope they need to thrive today, tomorrow, and for years to come.
