We offer Mental Health Access (copay or deductible) Assistance to youth, children, and parents of dependent children (ages 0-25) who live in Lancaster County and have financial need.

NEW! Mental Health Access Assistance

Formerly Mental Health Copay Assistance program

Since 2017, Touchstone Foundation, formerly known as LOHF (Lancaster Osteopathic Health Foundation) has supplied children’s behavioral health grants to improve access for youth and families in Lancaster County. We will continue to fund youth mental wellness services that improve access to mental and behavioral health services in Lancaster County.

In 2023, we are announcing our Mental Health Access Assistance program. The purpose is still the same: provide monetary assistance to youth, children, and parents of dependent children (ages 0-25) who live in Lancaster County and have financial need. To qualify for the program the household income may not exceed 250% of the Federal Poverty Level. Patients must have commercial insurance and re-enroll with us each year so that we can verify their income eligibility.

We will cover costs up to $40 per visit (towards copay or deductible) to a licensed behavioral healthcare provider.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Touchstone Foundation continues this vital program to help youth (and parents of dependent children) in need of mental health copay assistance. Our ability to expand the program to cover copays and deductibles is made possible by the generous grant from The Steinman Foundation.

Get up to $40 covered for your mental health visits today!

History of Mental Health Access Assistance Program

We offer Mental Health Copay Assistance to youth, children, and parents of dependent children (ages 0-25) who live in Lancaster County and have financial need. This reduces the copay to just $10 per visit to a licensed behavioral healthcare provider.

Household income may not exceed 250% of the Federal Poverty Level. Patients must have commercial insurance and re-enroll with us each year so that we can verify their income eligibility.

From 2015-2017, PALCO participated as a grant recipient in the application with Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine to the United Way of Lancaster County for Let’s Talk, Lancaster: Changing the conversation about mental health. This grant, which ended July 1, 2018, covered the cost of the copay assistance program.
