Welcome Casey Flores

Touchstone Foundation is thrilled to welcome Casey Flores as the new Communications Manager for the Touchstone Foundation. Casey comes to us with an impressive background in community outreach and youth programming, perfectly aligning with the mission of our foundation.

In her new role, she will be responsible for expanding our social media presence, strengthening community partnerships, managing our website and content assets, and supporting our fundraising efforts to grow the programs we offer.

When asked about her new position, Casey said, “The Touchstone Foundation is a great fit with my life. It’s totally in line with my personal goals and values, especially helping the youth of the community. The pandemic really forced us all to rethink the importance of young people’s mental health, so this is an important time to build on that awareness to improve access, acceptance, and advancement of mental health throughout Lancaster County.”

Casey started with us in August, but her involvement in the Lancaster community is far from new. Since 2018, she has served as a neighborhood leader and the chair of the West Lancaster Jewels Neighborhood Committee, where she’s worked tirelessly to connect community resources and foster youth programs. Her commitment to health, safety, and community-building has been instrumental in securing grants and organizing community events. Her deep understanding of the needs of Lancaster’s youth will be a tremendous asset to Touchstone’s work.

Casey also has a long-standing passion for the arts. In high school, she led a mariachi band program and learned to play the vihuela to complete the band’s instrumentation and get the group playing at events. The program lasted three years after she graduated.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with her husband and their beloved boxer, Chico.

Please join us in welcoming Casey Flores to the Touchstone Foundation. We are excited about the positive impact she will make on young people and the broader Lancaster community!
