Join Let’s Talk Lancaster at Art Walk in downtown Lancaster for the Change Direction Kickoff Event on October 8th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. This countrywide campaign works to educate 275,000 people about the five signs that may mean someone is in emotional pain, and teach how you can help someone in need.
“LOHF is proud to pledge our support of mental health with Change Direction, because we know that children and families in Lancaster County need help navigating care for mental health,” says Anna Brendle Kennedy, Executive Director. “When we all know the five signs, we can support families and caregivers to encourage them to talk with their family doctor or mental health professional.”
Let’s Talk Lancaster is a coalition dedicated to changing the conversation about mental health in Lancaster County. In partnership with the Campaign to Change Direction, Let’s Talk Lancaster has set a goal to share the five signs with 275,000 people in Lancaster County. Take the pledge to learn the signs on October 8th, find other ways to get involved in improving mental well-being in our community, and help with our public art project.
Do you know the five signs? Help us kick off this effort during Art Walk weekend and change the culture of mental health in America! Learn the five signs and help those in need receive the support they deserve, because emotional well-being is just as important as physical well-being. We can’t have one without the other!
