LOHF Presents During 9th Annual Adelante Education Forum, Oct. 29

Lancaster Osteopathic Health Foundation will proudly present during the 9th Annual Adelante Education Forum, Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the Lancaster-Lebanon IU-13 Conference Center. The Adelante Education Committee’s 2016 focus is “PARENTS: Champions of Home, School and Community: Building Partnerships for Student Success”.

Have you ever struggled to find a therapist or counselor for your child or someone you love? Here in Lancaster, we are working to help families get better access to mental health services so that children can grow up healthy and ready to learn. The Lancaster Osteopathic Health Foundation is investing in services and programs with many organizations in our community to improve mental health and help our medical and education systems work better together. In 2015, we completed a study with families and community providers about mental health, and we want to hear from you. Please join us to share your experiences and insights. This will be an interactive workshop, with some presentations, small group discussions, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. You input will help shape our future direction about which programs and services need our support.

The program will be presented by Anna Brendle Kennedy, Executive Director for LOHF and Kate Gallagher, Founder and CEO of coLAB, Inc.
