In coordination with Compass Mark, Burrowes Elementary hosted their first Donuts with Dads event on Wednesday, March 30th. A long-time the partner with the School District of Lancaster, Compass mark continues to develop innovative standards-based programming to enhance student curriculum and academic excellence.
During the before-school program, dads were encouraged to interact with their children. Each child was given a takeaway item to encourage positive interaction with their father or other special male figure.
Compass Mark was selected as a Lancaster Osteopathic Health Foundation Fall 2015 Community Grant Recipient. We are proud to support Compass Mark as they work to increase understanding and confidence in parents using strength-based techniques, parenting classes, social events and family activities.
