Rise Above Youth Summit Launches July 14!
The Rise Above Youth Summit is a transformative summer program designed to empower Lancaster County high school students through creative exploration and mental wellness education. Starting July 14, twenty students will join over twenty facilitators—including mental health professionals and local artists—for three weeks of immersive learning, reflection, and growth.
Students will:
Earn a Teen Mental Health First Aid Certificate
Participate in workshops exploring personal identity, advocacy, and emotional resilience
Receive a Rise Above T-shirt and a “Knowing Yourself” journal by The Hood Hippie Love Yourself
Earn a $500 scholarship for their commitment to mental wellness
Present their mental health journey to family and community at a final showcase
Gain resources to launch mental health clubs or become peer mentors in their schools

Advocacy with Pen and Paper
Identity and Mental Health
Teen Dating Violence Prevention and Solutions & More!

Don’t have the money to pay for therapy or counseling sessions? No problem! We will cover the costs (up to $50) per visit towards your copay or deductible to a licensed therapist. Youth, children and parents with kids ages 0-25 are eligible. It is simple. No hidden fees. Easy to apply. Click below to get started!

Affordable Therapy Assistance for Insured Families. Our program is designed to assist insured patients who need support affording therapy costs covered by their insurance. We’ll contribute up to $50 per visit toward your copay or deductible when seeing a licensed therapist.
Tuition Scholarships for Mental Health Careers. This program supports both undergraduate and graduate students pursuing careers in mental healthcare by covering tuition costs and helping build the future workforce to meet the growing demand for mental health services in our community.
Investing in the Mental Health Provider talent pipeline. This program addresses the inadequate supply of child and adolescent mental health professionals in Lancaster County. Thanks in part to a generous grant from the Steinman Foundation, this is funded for 3 years (through 2025).
The Rise Above Youth Summit supports high school students in Lancaster County by offering a unique opportunity to learn about mental wellness, connect with mental health professionals, and work with local artists serving as Safe Space Facilitators.
Touchstone Foundation’s Student Symposium is a peer-to-peer event connecting students at all levels—high school through graduate school—to explore careers in mental health. Aligned with our mission to elevate youth mental wellness, the symposium builds community, shares insight on the path to clinical licensure (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT), and supports our long-term goal of expanding Lancaster County’s mental health workforce.
