About the Book
Lives Worth Living offers a proactive, compassionate framework that empowers schools to move upstream in suicide prevention. Rooted in decades of research and real-world practice, the book adapts the national Zero Suicide model for schools and integrates it with MTSS to provide a hands-on guide for change.
Inside the book:
Seven actionable components: Lead, Educate, Identify, Engage, Care, Connect, Improve
Strategies to reduce risk and enhance protective factors for all students
Reflections, planning tools, and stories from the field
A blueprint for creating sustainable, school-wide prevention systems
This is more than a book—it’s a movement for building safer, more supportive learning communities.
